Biography
Dr. Nikki Graue founded New Horizon Chiropractic in 2004 with a clear purpose: to give Sioux Falls families access to comprehensive, conservative care — without the assembly-line feel of high-volume clinics. Twenty-one years later, that commitment has not wavered.
Dr. Graue takes a whole-person approach. A spinal adjustment may be the right starting point, but she also looks at how you sleep, how you work, what stresses you carry, and how those patterns show up in your body. Where appropriate, she combines chiropractic with acupuncture, cupping, spinal decompression, or nutritional guidance — because single-tool thinking produces single-dimension results.
She has built a practice where patients do not feel rushed, where the same doctor sees you visit after visit, and where a phone call still means a real conversation. In an era of revolving-door healthcare, that consistency matters.
"My goal is simple — help you feel better, move better, and stay that way. We do not believe in keeping patients coming in longer than they need to."
— Dr. Nikki Graue, D.C.
Clinical focus
Manual and instrument-assisted spinal and extremity adjustments for pain relief, mobility, and nervous system function. The cornerstone of every care plan.
Traditional and contemporary acupuncture to reduce inflammation, manage chronic pain, and support the body's natural healing — often paired with adjustments for faster results.
From weekend warriors to student athletes, Dr. Graue builds sport-specific rehabilitation plans that get you back in action — and help you stay there.
Gentle, age-appropriate care for infants and children. From birth trauma and colic to growing pains and sports injuries, Dr. Graue sees the whole family.
Non-surgical traction therapy for disc herniations, degenerative disc disease, and radiculopathy — an alternative to surgery for qualifying patients.
Inflammation starts at the table. Dr. Graue integrates basic nutritional guidance into care plans where lifestyle factors are driving musculoskeletal symptoms.
Care philosophy
Dr. Graue sees you personally — not a rotating associate. That continuity means she knows your history and catches changes the chart misses.
You will know exactly what is recommended and why. No overselling maintenance packages or indefinite "wellness" schedules unless that is genuinely the right call for you.
Drugs and surgery have their place — after conservative care has had a real chance. We exhaust the gentle options before recommending anything more aggressive.
Sleep, stress, posture, nutrition — pain rarely has a single cause. A plan that only treats the symptom misses the pattern. We look at both.
